Remember to save often.
This tutorial is written for those who have a working knowledge of PSP.
1.
File - New Image - 750 x 550
Open sb_COGH_pp14 (paper) from kit, resize by 60% and then add to your material pallette.
Open your mask 232 by Vix .
New raster layer - Floodfill this layer using your paper.
Right click on the flood filled layer.
New Mask Layer - From Image
select Vix_Mask232
Source Luminance Checked
Invert Mask Data Unchecked
Click ok
Right click mask layer, Merge, Merge Group.
Rename this layer "Mask Layer"
2.
Open sb_COGH_pp4 & resize it by 60% - add to your material pallette (background)
Select your circle preset shape tool, and draw out a circle fairly big in size.
Convert to raster layer & rename it "purple circle".
Now open sb_COGH_pp11 & again, resize by 60%.
Add to your background in Material Pallette.
Make sure the purple circle layer is active.
Selections - Select all
Selections - Float
Selections - Defloat
Selections - Modify - Contract by 10.
Add a new raster layer, then floodfill the selected area with your paper in background.
Selections - None.
Rename this layer "pink dot circle"
Now add the color white to your material pallette in background.
Make sure the pink dotted circle layer is active.
Draw out a circle, somewhat smaller than the pink dotted circle..
Convert to a raster layer, & rename it "white circle" .
Do the same again, but a bit smaller using pink.
See my tag for reference.
I used #ed4d72.
Rename this layer pink circle.
Now grab the closeup version of your tube, and paste it to your canvas, just above the pink circle layer.
Position it where you want it.
Add dropshadow
I used:
Vertical - 0
Horizontal - 0
Opacity - 40
Blur - 4.00
Now make sure your pink circle layer is active.
Selections - Select all
Selections - Float
Selections - Defloat
Selections - Invert
Now click on your closeup tube layer.
Hit the delete key on your keyboard.
Now change your blend mode to "Screen"
Hide all layers except the pink circle layer & your closeup tube.
Layers - Merge - Merge Visible.
Rename this layer - "pink circle"
Unhide the other layers now.
Add dropshadow to your pink circle layer.
You can also add dropshadow to all the other circle layers too, if you like.
3.
Now open your rectangle preset shape tool.
Click on your white circle layer to make it active.
Using a color from the scrapkit, draw out a rectangle so it comes out from each end.
(see mine for example)
Effects - Plugins - Xero - Fritillary
Use the below settings:
Granularity - 5
Aggression - 30
Tesselation - 10
Variation - 6
Rename this layer "green rectangle"
Add your dropshadow, same as above.
4.
Okay now we are going to make the rectangular frame.
Open your rectangle preset shape tool again.
Add a color of choice from the scrap kit - i used #3390b2.
Draw out a rectangle, longer lengthwise, and shorter widthwise.
see my tag for reference.
Convert to a raster layer.
Selections - Select all
Selections - Float
Selections - Defloat
Selections - Modify - Contract by 30.
Then hit your delete key on the keyboard.
Selections - None.
Rename this layer "rectangle frame"
Using your dropper tool, click on the Foreground & Stroke Properties in your Material Pallette.
Choose white as your color, and up in the upperhand right corner check "texture"
Then using the drop down right beneath that, choose "grid" as the texture of choice.
Angle : 0 Scale : 77
Now, make sure your frame layer is active.
Selections - Select all
Selections - Float
Selections - Defloat
Click on your Flood Fill tool and fill your frame, using the grid texture.
You should now have the white dots :-)
5.
Open up a paper of choice from the kit, i used sb_COGH_pp4 again.
Once again, draw out a rectangle - and drop that layer beneath your frame layer you just made.
Now grab the closeup tube once again, and paste it onto your canvas just above the rectangle you just made.
Image - Mirror
Place the tube exactly where you want it.
Add dropshadow if you like.
Click on the rectangle layer you just made, again to make it active.
Selections - Select all
Selections - Float
Selections - Defloat
Selections - Invert
Now click on your closeup tube layer.
Hit the delete key on your keyboard.
Change your blend mode to "Luminance Legacy" .
Hide all layers except your closeup tube and the rectangle layer (background) .
Layers - Merge - Merge Visible.
Rename this layer "rectangle tube"
6.
Using your circle preset shape tool, draw out two circles using a color or paper of choice..
(i used sb_COGH_pp4 again)
Effects - Plugins - DSB Flux - Bright Noise
Intensity 33 - Mix Checked
Selections - Select all
Selections - Float
Selections - Defloat
Add a new raster layer.
Flood fill the selected area with another color of choice from scrap kit.
Do the same with the second circle.
Effects - Plugins - Xero Fritillary
(same settings as before)
Add a closeup of your tube again, using the same method we used before.
Now add a dropshadow to everything.
7.
Now you can add your full tube, add dropshadow.
Now you can add your accents..
i used sb_COGH_beads2 and added them near the bottom of the tag.
Then i added sb_COGH_string with leaves
resize by 50% and add it just above the mask layer .
duplicate two more times, and place them so the leaves are sticking out some.
(see my tag for reference)
Open sb_COGH_bow with eyelets1 - resize by 30% and place where you want them.
Add the tag charm, color of choice - that you downloaded from Melissa's blog.
Use your eraser tool to erase where the frame is to make it look as though it's wrapped around frame.
Add your squiggly accents from supplies..
Add your diamonds from supplies..
Add dropshadow to everything you've added.
Then, using the circle preset shape tool, set to 'dots' Line style, size 2 i drew out to small circles .
i placed them beneath the small circles that i used bright noise on.
8.
Last but not least, open up your fonts of choice.
I used Copperplate Gothic to type Naughty Girl, as well as the 100%.
I used Fixed_01 to type Naughty Girl across the tag, using black for naughty and white for girl (size 6)
Then i changed the blend mode to "Overlay"
Then i used Sharon Apple Normal for the name on my tag :-)
Add your name, & watermark.
That's it, all finished!
